Electrolysis is the only form of permanent hair removal. A needle is inserted into the hair follicle and heat is applied. The hair follicle weakens to the point of no longer being able to produce new hair growth. Depending on the size of the area, several treatments may be required to address each follicle.

There is no downtime. Electrolysis can feel like a tiny pinch at the time of treatment. Some redness at the site may occur but will resolve after a couple of days.
